Khonology is a digital services company focused on software development, application support, data analytics, and engineering.

We are looking to onboard four highly experienced Process Architects on a 6-month contract. This is a senior, strategic role requiring individuals who can operate at an enterprise level, shaping and governing process architecture across complex environments. The ideal candidates will bring a minimum of 8 years’ experience in process excellence, architecture, and continuous improvement, with demonstrated ability to influence at both operational and executive levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of defining, designing, and governing the enterprise-wide process architecture, ensuring alignment across business and technology domains.

  • Establish and drive the adoption of a process architecture framework, incorporating end-to-end processes, system integrations, and data flows, ensuring consistency, scalability, and traceability across the organisation.

  • Define and enforce process governance standards, modelling conventions, and architectural principles, ensuring all processes meet enterprise quality and compliance requirements.

  • Lead the development and continuous evolution of “as-is” and “to-be” process architectures, ensuring alignment to strategic objectives and target operating models.

  • Own and oversee the centralised process repository, ensuring proper structuring, version control, and accessibility of all process artefacts across the enterprise.

  • Architect and optimise incident, crisis management, and remediation frameworks, embedding root cause analysis and proactive improvement mechanisms to enhance operational resilience.

  • Identify systemic inefficiencies and cross-functional dependencies, and translate these into enterprise-level architectural improvements that drive measurable business value and improved client experience.

  • Operate as a senior advisor to business and technology leadership, providing guidance on process architecture decisions, trade-offs, and optimisation strategies.

  • Lead high-impact process architecture workshops, discovery engagements, and alignment sessions with senior stakeholders, SMEs, and cross-functional teams.

  • Act as a strategic bridge between business and technology, ensuring that process architecture enables both operational excellence and effective technology delivery.

  • Collaborate closely with the Process Architecture Lead and broader enterprise architecture function to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles and roadmaps.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Process Management, or related field (beneficial).

  • 8 years of experience in process architecture, enterprise process design, or process governance within complex IT and business environments.

  • Proven ability to operate at a senior level, influencing stakeholders, shaping strategy, and driving enterprise-wide process transformation initiatives.

  • Strong experience in designing and implementing end-to-end process architectures across business and technology domains.

  • Solid understanding of incident, problem, and change management frameworks within large-scale enterprise environments.

  • Advanced proficiency in process modelling methodologies and tools (e.g. BPMN or equivalent).

  • Strong analytical capability, including root cause analysis, trend analysis, and translating insights into strategic improvements.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively at executive and senior management level.

  • Exceptional documentation and communication skills, with a focus on clarity, structure, and governance.

  • TOGAF certification or familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks will be advantageous.
