Job description
We are looking for a candidate for a 12 month engagement to be the technical Subject Matter Expert(SME) in your technical domain by providing solutions and advice to business across multiple complex problem sets, working with vendors to improve IT technical domain solutions as well as providing support to junior staff.

Requirements and Responsibilities:
Serve as technical lead Examples: Lead B2B (IBM Sterling Integrator) primarily for developing and deploying business process and Web services.
Work with internal and external business teams to define, design, code, test, implement and maintain all aspects of electronic documents to suit business needs, particularly new business opportunities or new documents that partners request.
Experience with large migration, integration and consolidation efforts of file transfer platforms.
Demonstrated experience working as a subject matter expert for the B2Bi, Connect Direct and MQFTE platforms.
Proficient in utilizing various operating systems and the installation of B2Bi, Connect Direct and MQFTE agent software on Windows, Linux, AIX, mainframe and Solaris.
Build or maintain business processes within IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
Provide setup and support for communication of files using standard internet protocols (FTP, SFTP and HTTP(s).
Unix and Windows scripting capabilities a must.
Provide on call support for all the above as required to support needs of business.
Coordinate with enterprise design, applications, and infrastructure architects regarding automation, file transfer, and batch scheduling technologies
Provide ongoing oversight and continuous process improvement of ongoing system inspection procedures.
Incident troubleshooting/analysis oversight
Conduct ongoing oversight and quality review of incident resolution -- identify those areas where a pre-defined response is appropriate.
Develop and document standardized troubleshooting techniques used to analyze system incidents.
Enforce standards with respect to automation, file transfer, and batch scheduling technologies
Interface independently with internal and external business partners to plan, coordinate, test and implement new automation and/or file transfer operations.
Work with production support teams to define and document workarounds to known errors.
Conduct ongoing oversight and quality review of the execution of system functionality verification procedures.
Preferred Qualification and Experience
Requires a BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
Normally requires a minimum of seven (7) years directly related and progressively responsible experience in EDI Technical Administration and Operations support.
Requires experience with implementation, operating, and performance management of Enterprise EDI B2B systems.
Experience with Sterling B2B Integrator and associated file transfer products and protocols.
Financial services experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills required.
Collaborate with production support teams to identify and design continuous improvements to system functionality verification procedures.
Works with information security to identify and coordinate security requirements for the application life cycle.
Custom Developed Services – prior Java development experience is preferred.
Database – SQL knowledge (write/run) is mandatory.
